About 8:15-9:20 of Sleep.. brought tears to my eyes the first time I heard it and still has that effect sometimes.

I've been actively seeking this album at my local shops for a few months now and haven't found a copy. Reading these comments just make me want it even more.

Nice review mate. This album is brilliant, one of the best instrumental albums I've heard in a while.

I'm glad I got into Godspeed You!. I really have shown a love for this stuff lately, and this comes out on top of the heap. This is, without a doubt, a brilliant album.

The part in Terrible Canyons of Static where it's just that man's voice and those strings almost made me cry. So beautiful.

^I know what you mean. It's just so powerful, yet so simple. Amazing.

^It's a known fact girls dig guys who aren't afraid to show their emotions.

This album is fantastic, if you've got the patience for it. Alot of people might find it a little much to digest.

It's such a unique take on songwriting. It's a beautiful episodic collage, and there are moments that just leave such a powerful impression.

I finally got round to listening to this, it's great but I don't think it ever retruns to the brilliance of "Storm" I need to listen more though!

Today I did some soul-searching and decided that this album is by far the best Godspeed album.

So far, I like this more than F# A# ∞.

I reduced that one to 4.5 for it. :[

I'm dissecting this beast now. I'm already enraptured with it, it's one of those albums that you can simply throw on and exist to. The perfect soundtrack, in essence.

Rating pending atm.

i never really listened to this album the right way until last night. i always liked it but never was able to just devote myself to lay down and just soak it in. i decided to do just that, and let me say that i have a whole new perspective on this album. it was simply beautiful. it just completely took over my emotions and allowed me to relax and think about my life and where its at. it helped clear my thoughts and realize that teaching is the right path i want to take. never thought an album can do that for me, i was also able to do all my second order differential equations homework in less than 20 minutes

all i need now to do is get my hands on some more gy!be albums. which one should i get next that has the same feel that this one has??This Message Edited On 06.01.07

This album is a piece of art. Possibly my all time favorite album.
