Yeah the live stuff hasn't sounded too good to me either. I don't mind, but I hope they do an album this good or better next.

Punk sucks, especially commercialized punk. Tom needs to learn how to play a guitar correctly (all punk guitarists for that matter), and Travis isn't nearly as good as everyone says he is (for excellent drumming pick up any Dave Matthews CD with Carter Beaufort on it except the new one cus it sucks ass, also check out Dream Theatre (Mike Portnoy), and Questlove from the Roots (his solo stuff).

This album is nowhere near punk. And the band that your username is talking about is hugely influenced by Hardcore and Punk bands.

Is it possible to just like this album for the music, or does all music require skilled musicains to be enjoyed? I love Between The Buried and Me by the way, I own both of their albums.

No! You're silly.

If it doesn't have Petrucci, it isn't music.

This album surprised me. Blink was one of the first bands I liked so I got it out of curiosity. I probably wouldn't have got it if the press didn't say they changed. This album is leaps and bounds above everything else they've done. I'd give it a 4.

I think if you judge this from being a fan of their older stuff, you won't like this, or think it's just pretty bad. If you judge it with an open mind and not basing it on any of their previous albums.. you'll be able to see how experimental and brilliant this album is.

I don't care if Tom can't shred, I'll go listen to Vai or Jason Becker if i want shredding, instrumental skill is nothing compared to songwriting skills.

the songs are simple for simple people like me. i like them because i can write songs just like them all day and stum power chords. since i have no real musical talent im glad blink exists. if i can play what they play and write what they write, i feel better about my self when they are given so much credit. travis is as good as matt McDonough or Danny Carry???

I hope any upcoming blink albums sound like this one, it was, in my opinion, Their best album by far.

Emoism jesus christ theres a difference between having emotion involved in your lyrics and beig emo . I also thought 'Go' is deserving of some credit as it's a change of pace which is pretty good.

I wouldn't say this album was bad really. It's alot more heartfelt or as some would say "emo," considering everything to everbody is emo now.

But in my opinion their older albums were better, such as Enema Of The State and Take Off Your Pants And Jacket.

Man, there are so many idiots here. Emo means emotional god dammit. All music is emo. You guys are so stupid. You hate a band because they changed a little? Tom DeLonge has to be one of the best songwriters all time. Who cares if he cant play a solo like Vai, he still can make amazing songs. Tom DeLonge is starting a new band called Angels and Airwaves. The cd is coming out January 06 I think. And Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus started a band called Plus-44 but I dont know too much about it
