I don't consider them a guilty pleasure at all. One of the more fun bands to listen to . But maybe i'm lenient because i've been a fan for over 4 years. KSE, ftw.

I added both new bonus songs from the album to the site. This should give anyone a chance to listen to the songs if they haven't yet, its worth listening too.

i used to say i hated killswitch, but nobody can honestly say they hate them. even though i do make fun of them a lot. on a weekly basis at least.

Killswitch Engage is one incredibly good band but i gotta say that this new disc doesn't really hold a candle for their 3 earlier albums. Still i respect this band very much and the disc is by no means bad BUT it isn't as breath taking(for me atleast) as the earlier 2 releases. All the songs are good but there is no awesome song on it like the previous albums had. 'For You' would definitely come closest though cause i tbh love that song, the riffs, vocals and especially the jazzy drums. But there is just something missing in that song and i cant put my finger on it. Anyways a good review.

Good reveiw i Agree with mostly everything you said. Some mistakes but it isnt necasarily about the text its about the album and the songs on it. And yes holy diver was originally made by Dio we get it.

Am I the only one that think KSE completely destroyed Dio's version? I mean every time I hear it on the radio I want to slice the throat of the nearest elderly lady...



God awful...I mean they should deffinetley stick to their own material because that cover flat out sucks imo. I'm still a fan but just not of that. My dad heard it being a fan of Dio's original and was like: "wow thats pretty terrible...".

This album was amazing. Howard is much better than Jesse in my opinion. He seems much more skillful and his singing voice is just amazing. Every song on this album is solid, in fact I can't even pick a highlight as the whole album is amazing. I also think they made Holy Diver their own and made it much more enjoyable than the original.

I think Jesse had a better clean voice, but Howard's scream is way better... since there is more screaming than singing the crown goes to Howard I'd say.

And they completely killed Holy Diver, but in a good way

Completely agree...the old cleans were much more pleasing to my ear, tho Howard's is very unique...i just don't dig it as much.

And the Holy Diver cover is awesomeness plain and simple...you are silly if you don't think so.
