"is it worth checking anything after this one"



kinda late for this one Pika but I'd say Sweet Freedom is worth checking. It is nowhere near as consistent as the previous albums but it still has some classic Heep songs like Stealin' or Pilgrim



Abominog also might be one of the best albums in the AOR genre, full of tons of catchy cheese, but that's certainly not the kind of genre most people in Sputnik would enjoy

Oh, nice, I'll check those out then!

I really like their classic prog style, but I've always thought there was no point in checking the rest if it was same-ish but much worse.

They certainly lost it after Byron was sacked, which is weird since John Lawton was also one of the best vocalists of his time, but I suppose it was more of a creativity issue rather than a talent one



They went full on cheesy commercial 70's rock after that but at least with Abominog they pulled off one of the few great albums in that style imo
