anyone who doesn't love the second half of "come on! feel the illinoise!" has no heart

or "casimir pulaski day"

or "chicago"

or "john wayne gacy jr"

or "decatur"

or the last song on the album

or the first one too

see some of those like chicago and casimir pulaski day and john wayne are ridiculously awesome but the amount of filler and average songs is dreadful

i honestly cant see why people mind the really short "filler" songs--like the ones that are a minute
or so tops; they make the album fun to listen to

and ill admit that even the longer songs start to peter out towards the end (although the twosome that
ends the album is awesome) but overall this is awesome

robertsona speaking the truth itt

the 'filler' helps the album have a nice flow between tracks and such

like a journey or some gay example

its still awesome

don't get me wrong, like trying to speak objectively it's easy for me to see why people think this is some sick shit but i just don't enjoy it, i can never make it all the way through without being like, "dammit sufjan!"

but yeah totally understand why people like this just not for me... as of now, anyway

the filler isn't even filler, it's usually just the end of a song made as a separate track because, idk, indie.

I mean come on, "Woohoo for the Pullman" is like 6 seconds you can't seriously be annoyed be distracted by that. Ugh Eric, you're making it so hard for us to be friends haha

this album has so many songs to digest. i've been listening to this for about a week but idk. i really really like it but it takes so long to get into. like idk what to rate it, i feel like it could be a 5 but only after like months of listening lol.

I think the EP is his best work although this has one of my favorite songs ever. Both beat Adz, easily.
