I just bought this album...i defintely don't see this as a 5 let alone a 3.5, but i'll give it a chance. They're hardcore parts don't fit in with the rest of the music...if anything they kinda make me think that they just created heavy music just to be heavy, if you get what i mean. oh well

Well they have very hardcore roots.. so their trying not to completely abandon that for the nostalgia and because their fans still love their tough-guy hardcore-ness.

I don't see this as deathcore. At least not all of it! More like deathcore w/melo death and symphonic elements than anything else. But thats just my view on it. No need to start a gay genre war! This Message Edited On 02.07.08

Lol, they say they are Death Metal with hardcore roots, and minor Black Metal influneces...or something like that.
All Shall Perish set the bar for Deathcore, don't expect people to be as good as them, tho. These guys are probably in my top 5 for Deathcore tho.

This album is decent, but it could never be a 5 based on the fact it has the song "Reloaded" on it.

okay i will have to disagree with most of you guys i think your jumping on the all shall perish bandwagon to much here first off the price of existence is an amazing cd but its not flawless out of the 11 tracks i find only 7 live up to being considered classic while WOP's newest release only two tracks arent that catchy plus raising the bar in deathcore? lol the bar was raised by Despised Icons "The Ills Of Modern Man" and Whitechapels "The Somatic Defilement"
|

Watch out, there's a deathcore expert in the house.

A short bit, I've only listen to this for a short time and already its getting tiring and the perks don't outweight the major flaws anymore.
