Fr33lord,
This album has certainly grown on me alot more. Its probably one of the most consistent albums I've listened to in a while. One of the most overlooked album of 2007 too!

Yes it is. Tbh, I don't know how the fudge I found about this band. It was one of those "man what happened last night, I was totally wrecked" moments.

I wish all of my 'man, what the fuck happened' moments turned out this good hahaha. I just got SoulSaviour in the mail today. Expect a review soon!

No problem Willie. I love the way these guys meld industrial and black metal together.

Is this better than SoulSaviour?

The atmosphere is utilized a lot more on this album instead of the more straight forward approach of SoulSaviour. The songs are a bit more memorable.

Ok. I really like SoulSaviour so im probably going to check this out. This is by far the best band that mixes Industrial and Black Metal. Aborym is pretty good, but not better than this band and The Kovenant is horrible now.

I've never heard Aborym but I will surely check them out if they have a sound like this. I wish more black metal was like this, considering I love everything Ministry has put out (well, maybe not everything) and I like most black metal I listen to.

Yeah Aborym is pretty good. Atilla from Mayhem used to be their vocalist. Now they have a new guy, i forget his name right now, but he's also pretty good. The first 2 albums The Kovenant put out were really good and then after that they started going downhill. I lost all interest in them after S.E.T.I.

Atilla is awful at best. He sounds like he's puking on a microphone.
I will be sure to check out The Kovenant as well if they have that industrial/ black metal sound to them. I heard Hellhammer used to drum for them or something?

Bard Faust is the drummer for Aborym so that like gives them instant street cred. Their live videos are weird as fuck, they wear like neon corpse paint or just neon paint in the dark. Good band, along with these guys. I'll be on the look out for for industrial tinged black metal. Wait, get Blut Aus Nord- The Work Which Transforms God, solid, solid black metal with industrial elements.

Is this better than SoulSaviour?

Yes, the atmosphere is way darker on this and the overall song structures are more focused. Soulsaviour has some really good tunes as well like 'Unleash the Energy' and 'As the Sky Opens'.
I love how the keyboards are so basic with these guys yet so effective at the same time. This Message Edited On 05.23.08
