i have 4 songs from this and they're really good. the vocals aren't nearly as bad as everybody says they are.

This is one of the best tech death albums I've heard in awhile. I like this much more than Odious Mortem. It's also really impressive that Matt does all of the guitar and bass work. Drummer is unreal.

I don't understand this "trying to hard" talk. Everything is pulled off with the utmost musicianship. What people call "trying to hard", I call an amazing tech album!

This album has lots of good riffs but the songwriting is just not there. The songs go nowhere but into more fast tech riffs.

I saw these guys live last night with Abigail Williams and the Faceless. These guys straight up stole the show. Probably the best set I've ever seen. Their singer was awesome. So was the bassist. And guitarist. And drummer. And their other guitarist.

Decrepit Birth slay live. The faceless always sound great but are pretty boring live.

Drumming is extremely crazy on this album. Same with Odious Mortem. This KC guy is really good.

I like the first CD a lot. Decrepit Birth have lost, and gained many fans since And Time Begins. Losing fans as in most people who loved their brutal death metal effort, and gained as in people who loved the melody and fresh sound presented on this album. I like both albums a lot, there just ALOT different.

I want to like these guys more, but it is a solid fucking album. I mean, I do like it enough to give it a 4, but you know, I feel like I should like it more. Good death metal none the less.

Holy crap batman! This is one of the best technical death metal i've heard...the drumming is very fast and technical (is the drummer even human?), the basslines can be heard clearly (which is usually absent in the deathmetal genre) and the guitars are sweeeeet! The Enigmatic form is one of the outstanding instrumental songs i've heard in metal! Excellent album!
