Is this a serious music review site? Or just an opportunity for dimwits to slag each other off?

It's a mix of both. You've caught on to the trend already, so, Welcome To Sputnik Music! Enjoy your stay, don't trip over the fanboys. They bite, and then you get infected with idiocy rabies and you can never go back to the way you were. Watch out for the staff, they may appear friendly, but they conceal a primal and savage nature. Especially Spat.This Message Edited On 01.15.08

A wretched soul, bruised with adversity,

We bid be quiet when we hear it cry;

But were we burdened with like weight of pain,

As much or more we should ourselves complain.

I think I'll still like this. To the person that said it would be better if they had some growling, that would be fucking stupid as it would be like Arch Enemy and well, I'd rather kill myself.

Oh, sorry, obviously my opinion is stupid. I just think that the below average female vocals sound a bit weak compared to the pretty powerful music, and you obviously don't know that much about Arch Enemy if you think they sound like this band (taking vocals out of it)

No shit. I know that. I was refering to having a girl growling which I'm sure would be more obvious as they have no other vocalist. I don't think they are below average. They remind me of a female version of Mikael of Opeth.

Oh, by no way did I mean having the female singer growl! I honestly don't know how you got that, seeing as from what I've heard we have no proof that she even can. I just think that some harsher vocals would suit the music better for my taste, but whatever, I've got to set off for work in ten minutes and I don't want this to blow up into a petty little argument.This Message Edited On 01.17.08

I think if they had harsher vocals it would seem like any other metal band with a female singer.

female cleans in metal don't do it for me

I'd have to agree with you for the most part on that Josh. Though I did find Simone's voice of Epica quite pleasing and very perfect for the type of music they play. The band is nothing special but her singing is very awesome. This chick's singing...not so awesome. This Message Edited On 02.18.08
