While I don't agree with the rating, great review. I listen to the album plenty myself even still. Let The Flames Begin is still probably my favorite off of this. Your band is pretty interesting as well. It's tempting for my to shamelessly promote mine as well but I don't want to clog up your thread anymore so just check my profile if you'd like. Nice review once again. I look forward to reading some more.

Thanks, I also love LTFB, probably my second favourite atm.
Your band is very good TWE, the riff in Misconceptions is especially good I think. I really like the group chanting on Auction too. Good luck on Sunday as well.

This album is great. The reviews good as well, very well written and was a good read. Of all the albums that came out in 2007, including the outstanding metal ones, I must've listened to this the most. Never gets boring to me.

Haven't completely decided honestly I'm leaning between an Epiphone Les Paul Custom, a Gibson LP Studio, and a Fender Telecaster at the moment but I'm open to suggestions the fellows at Guitar Center will give.

Nice. One of the guitarists in my band has been using the Epiphone LPs, they're great.

Like what has been said, I don't agree with this rating, but is a good review and you do seem to know what your talking about. The thing is, after looking at some of your other rating, you really do have good taste...some similar to mine. It makes me want to listen to this album again. Now that's a good review.

It means a lot, dude.

This quote alone sets this album outside the realm of a '5' for me: "Don’t expect huge amounts of diversity in this album, though. It’s certainly not breaking any new ground, and doesn’t really ever divert itself from punk influenced pop-rock. Riot! simply perfects a formula that has been used by so many other bands before"
Seriously though... 5 is a bit dramatic.

The word 'perfect' was used intentionally.
And see, thing I don't get is, people could rate an average (imo) power metal band (that is no one and no band in particular) a 5 and no one would disagree. Yet pretty much any pop punk album and it's like...yeah. But everyone has opinions and I encourage you share them.
