Altmer it has nothing to do with you not liking it, it has to do with how you wrote the review and basically made shit up to support your opinion. Three listens and you decided that an album widely seen as classic and essential is dated and mediocre. You rushed this just to get a reaction, to go against the grain, and it shows.

Dude, shut up.

Yes, no need for these shenanigans.
To be fair, I would probably not have rated it as high as I did after 3 listens.

It took at least a year to get it at a 5 for me.

This album is 100% pure classic. Rainbow In The Dark is just incredible

Straight Through The Heart has grown to possibly become my favourite song off the album, along with Don't Talk To Strangers.

There's a kid that sings "Holy Diver" in my tech-ed class. I asked him who sung it and he said KillSwitch Engage.

I'm not going to say anything on the review, but I think this album is terrible. Honestly, his melodies do nothing to hide the fact that his lyrics are some of the worst I've ever heard, and the rest of his band churn out bland, predictable metal cliches. I don't mean to be a douche and piss off all of his fans, but I really I can't stand this. This Message Edited On 12.10.07

Well, this was better than the review.
-Cliché metal riffs
-Bad Lyrics
-Bad melodies
at least you didn't say Dio was a tosser, cause he's not.

predictable metal cliches.
Theyre only cliches because pretty much every band formed after 1980 made a career by ripping Dio off.

This is woefully inaccurate and openly biased.
your journalistic integrity is at stake here, sir.

You mention how each individual portion sounds in terms of how impressive they are, but you never go into how they all sound as a whole, or even if they sound good. Something simple can sound every bit as wonderful as something complex and dazzling.
And "Stand Up and Shout" is a totally sweet song.

I've never heard this album and would probably agree on the rating judging from Rainbow in the Dark, the only song I've heard, but this is a poorly written review. It sounds childish at parts like
I know, I know, power metal doesn't care for bassists, but you know, Ronnie, I'd like to hear your bassist play sometime.
The review could also use some spell check. I won't neg, because the point's already been made by everyone else, but yeah. This Message Edited On 12.10.07

This review wasn't good at all, sorry. I could go over why, but I don't think I really have to.

This album is great, you suck.

Yet more proof that this site is god awful. The guy writes a good review, but people don't like the rating. That's a neg.
