Good review, though I can't concur with the "Indians" hate (I see it everywhere!). That first riff is colossal. Also, if you *loved* the ambient tracks on this, you'd be tickled by The Way of All Flesh. At least a fifth of that album is backwards guitar "interludes."

Almost as good as FMTS, almost. FMTS is heavier and the songs are better.

The Link is still a great album.

Arguably their most complex album musically, I find this to be their most interesting and it seems to have a unique atmosphere of its own.

This is my least favorite album by them. It just comes off really boring.

Wisdom Comes is ridiculously heavy.

Sort of a transitional album, but one that is certainly on par with the band's debut, if not in some cases better. Honestly, I prefer the more experimental element of Gojira's debut, but then I really liked the more immediate, less filler-based material here as well. The two shorter songs this time produce nice changes of pace, rather than coming across as pretty directionless by the end. And "Rememberance" and "Dawn" are really excellently written, certainly up there with the band's best.

album is so underrated here. It's where they truly establish their signature sound and with some of their most powerful songs like t/t, embrace the world, wisdom comes and Dawn

Was gonna say how you think the production quality is shitty, but just realized I'm listening to The Link Alive...

Anyway, Remembrance is some good shit
