To me they are better, but I still enjoy what I used to every now and then. Bad or good, you listen to what you like, so it doesn't matter that much. Before I came here, I hated death and black metal, progressive music, and indie stuff. But after a while, It's grown on me a lot.

You guys aren't open minded. Your just like the rest of America. If you open your eyes you will find an excellent album. I opened my eyes... and I can't do much because you use your ears to hear the music. And all I can hear is crappy music. So I won't be buying MTM. Closed minded? maybe. Smart in not spending money on something that I won't enjoy? DEFINITELY.

i came to this site when my favourite bands were the offspring, linkin park, and limp bizkit. and that was ALL i listened to. suffice to say, i have a fucking HUGE range of tastes now, but i do still occasionally listen to those bands (yes, even LB now and again lol!)
judging by the band's you've mentioned, altairschaos, you've only recently gotten into music (just a guess, as they're mostly mainstream bands), but do what i did, when you read a positive review of a band you've never heard of, go and download/stream some of their songs. you'll end up finding shitloads of stuff you'd never otherwise have come across.
