Nice review. Short and to the point, which is good once in a while.

Primordial challenge other 07 greats with a powerful sense of pride. And music that rules.

Hahahaha we all know that Neurosis easily takes best album for 2007 jk.

Wow...just heard Empire Falls and it's pretty good.

The atmosphere of the music and the singing makes a person sound so hopeless but it's great.

The hopelessness and desolation contrast the pride perfectly.

You wont regret it, the booklet is amazing and the art is much cooler than the standard. The cover is sort of etched in, it's gnarly. I haven't listened to the live album yet, though.

Agreed. There've been only a dozen or so stand outs this year.

There's either been really good albums, or really shitty ones. It's been lopsided IMO

I'm rather new to black metal, but this is pretty epic and awesome. Nice review.

Album rules for sure, I think I like it more than The Gathering Wilderness. Mostly because the vocals are perfect all throughout and the lyrics (as usual) are fantastic.

The Gathering Wilderness was kind of hindered by its production though. This album is still (according to the booklet) "not very produced", but it fits perfectly. But yeah the vocals are improving.

i LOVE this album, and i must say that the last 4 minutes of "no nation on this earth" alone are worth the album purchase. the riffs in those last 4 minutes are epic.
