first of all i would like to say that u did a good job on the review. Second of all i would like to say that i respect avril lavigne because she has to put up with so many peoples **** just because of what shes like and hows shes dressed. i for one like her music.

I was under the impression that a 'n00b' was defined by the way you act, not by your post count. If you look at it like that then someone could just spam everywhere in order to not be a n00b.

Anyway, to be on topic:
Nice review, I'm not much of an Avril fan but I still found it interesting to read and what-not. It's nice to see someone who doesn't just jump to the conclusion that she is crap, but someone that actually gives her a chance. And although I don't like her; much respect.

And on a final note. The picture is her; get over it.

I quite like Avril Lavigne. Her attitude sucks, but a few of her songs are ok.

Alright... If Brycey had given that review one number higher, I'd have tracked him down and beat his face in. I'm sorry all you fans, but *catchy* music does not make *good* music. Avril was bought by a label and is currently being sold. She's a complete tool and if she wasn't completely faking the whole "punk gurl" image, she wouldn't have even made MTV or Much Music.

Conversation in a CD store I overheard that kinda pissed me off:

12 year old girl 1: Yeah, I never used to like punk rock. I thought it was really stupid and for freaks, but then Avril came!!!

12 year old girl 2: Yeah, me too! I love Avril, and she is so cool!

That said, she's a musically untalented moron. Don't take offense, your review is okay I suppose, but she's stupid and untalented and that's all there is to it. Oh yeah, and her lyrics have about as much value as what I leave in toilets. Good lyrics: Thrice, Pink Floyd, Mars Volta, and Strung Out's are solid. Not Avril.

Edit: I could learn an Avril Lavigne song on any instrument in.. probably under 3 minutes, and it'd only take so long because I have a crappy memory.

I understand that you can have your own opinions, but then again so can I. Anyone who whines about musicians "selling out" is a complete and utter idiot. Blink-182 "sold out" on their latest album. How? By trying something new? What's the point in being in a band if you play the exact same types of songs over and over? I respect Blink-182, as well as NFG for taking their music in a different direction. Rancid also did it, and I thought that Indestructible was one of their best albums because of it.

With this album I like Avril even less. Her look tries to be "punk," but her songs scream "Sheryl Crow/Alanis." Also, she has revealed herself in interviews to be... well, stupid. Smart people make good musical revolutionaries, Avril does not.
