Which are you going to see? I seem to remember that there were already 3 other bands competing against Dresden Dolls before you decided to go with them. :/

Zack De La Rocha did vocals?

Dude.. This looks like a kind of hip-hop supergroup. I may consider looking into this. I'm not big on the genre, but I try things.

One of my favourite albums. 5/5 for sure.

Oh, and De La Soul doesn't perform on the album, they're just sampled in Paragraph President.

Dresden Dolls are good, but I think I'd definitely take Blackalicious over them.

Yawza!!!!
Why is this rated so highly by everyone? Seriously? It's really not that good.
I've listened to it a few times and never gone back to it.
I'll dig it out again and see what all the fuss is about.

I just picked this up yesterday in favor of a Quasimoto album.

The women backing vocals are amazing, and I love how he incorporates influences of funk and soul into his music.

So far this is an easy 5/5, considering every track is truly great in its own way.

It's really not that good...I really like the title track, but everything after that feels tiresome more than anything.

Really? Now that's a first. I don't even see how they can be tiring, the performing force on the album to me feels so intense and consistently invigorating.

But hey, that's what opinions are for.

Very good album. Slept On like crazy upon release.

First In Flight is a classic, sooo 70's, I love it.

I think track 1 should be longer since it's so awesome. It could easily be a full-length song.

EDIT: Feel That Way, First In Flight and Part 2 of Release are so awesome... I can't recall an album this long that I enjoyed so much the whole way through...

The fact that DJ Shadow does work on it makes people overrate it a bit, it's a great album, I was one of the few that new of Blackalicious before this album blew up, but It's definately not a classic, but it's not an album that will ever be duplicated.

And first in flight is one of my fave songs. This Message Edited On 06.10.06

If I overrate this album, it has nothing to do with DJ Shadow. I love it much more than Endtroducing.

Hell, I didn't even know that DJ Shadow was on this until I read these comments.
