V is IMO their peak, but they have two stages: This, the neoclassical metal style (that peaks in V), and a more aggressive sound from "The Oddysey" on. This is a great album to get into the band, no doubt.

The whole stretch from Evolution to Egypt is OMFG awesome. I would rec. listening to it again (specially if you like the lyrics / concept of the album).
