Mastodon's first two albums were great. People hating on me mentioning Blood Mountain are just insecure that I think the album sucks. If they'd listen to this, or you know, read more than the first two paragraphs, they'd understand why it was important to mention.

Did you know that Cocaine is just a nickname and that, in reality, I do not indulge in the "yayo"? So that rules that out.

I think it only italicizes the quote when you cite who the quote is from. If you just leave it [ quote], instead of [ quote=someone] (without the spaces), it will stay as is.

Ok review, but I think cheap shoting Blood Mountain really detracted from the review. I don't really care about people's tastes in music (well sometimes I do), but I find it to be a little unnecessary to insult a band while reviewing another band (and this is beyond the point that I love Blood Mountain). Well written, none the less, Ive just seen you write better. I will check these guys out.

But I was only taking shots at Blood Mountain because, as said, this is what that album should have been. It wasnt arbitrary. I'm not highlighting it anymore, but people in this band worked on that album. People on this album worked with Mastodon. They have similar things going on.

I think Coke has backed himself up well with his pot shots at Blood Mountain and the comparison to this album. But isn't the point of a review to reach out to as many people as possible and help them open their ears to something more unique? Thats why I love this website so much. I understand where you come from Coke, but I don't think alot of new people see this as a positive review, considering alot of newer metalheads probably love Blood Mountain. Just a thought.
