Soilwork: Bringing boring rehashes of music from a boring and obsolete style to you since 1996!

despite the randomly awful band name, they're actually pretty awesome.

They are pretty good, not as good as some other bands of the genre, but still awesome. This is one of their best albums imo, definately better than their last two, about on par with NBC.

Naa, Soilwork is a pretty cool name. Agree with you Josh, Soilwork are great live. As for this CD, it's a grower but pretty solid.

This album really surprised me, some of the best material they've done in years. Still not sure if this is better than NBC though, have to give a couple of more listens before I make that decision.

NBC is marginally better than this. However, As the Sleeper Awakes is better than any song off NBC. This is right in the middle of Soilwork's albums imo. Predator's Portrait, Chainheart Machine, and NBC are better, while Stabbing the Drama, Steelbath Suicide, and Figure Number Five are weaker.

One thing for sure is that I like the riffs on this album alot more than NBC.

So after repeated listens I have come to the conclusion that I like this better than NBC. It has alot more standout tracks to me, and flows together so well.

This album isn'tm too bad. Exile and 20 more miles are my favorites.

Its not bad, but its Soilwork's worst IMO. Nothing will top their first two albums and Stabbing the Drama.

this is one of soilworks better albums IMO i feel its a more return to form with them because they took the catchyness from there last release which was one hell of a cd and added the older harder edged style of there cds like a predators portrait and steelbath suicide still missing peter wichers though

so this album has dropped in my ratings just due to me not listening to it as frequently as i did with stabbing the drama and natural born chaos
