Side note, I've seen this guy be compared to Animal Collective quite a lot, but I'm not quite huge any huge similarities between the two. Are his other records more AnCo-ish?

@wtferrothorn I remember thinking this was okay when I first listened to it, but I kept coming back for some reason. Now It's one of my favorite albums of 2007. So good~
I'd say there's a bit of late-era AnCo in some of his later records. Early records remind me a bit of Danse Manatee and early solo works by the band.

Admittedly I don't really remember his music all that much, what I remember most is him telling the crowd on the floor to split in half and then run at each other.
He did more of a DJ show rather than an actual set.
