This album rocks, that interesting about the extra tracks on the australian release, I just thought everyone got 'invocation' and 'life is elsewhere'. Favourite tracks have to be invocation, it was there that i saw you, homage, days of being wild, and S T & C. I think this album shines brighter than 'worlds apart'. There seems to be a lot of that happening these days, 2nd album releases being good, but not quite as good.

Best thing on the cd is that bass slide in "It Was There That I Saw You".

The album is growing on me...one of the better 'rock' albums I've heard. I like how the filler tracks provide transitioning between the tracks. There are a few dud tracks, but the album flows well as a whole.
I like the way the bass guitars are produced...they are about 50% of the dark brooding sound this album seems to capture...they add so much to that dark bridge in "How Near, How Far".

My favourite thing is the really short beautiful riffs they include in stuff like "Relative Ways" and "How Near How Far".

I'm really digging "How Near How Far" right now. It is just so great to listen to and is just so beautiful. Recommending this band to everyone I know.

Still a standout album for me. "Another Morning Stoner" and the title track are some of the finest songs I've ever heard on a single album, and there are really no bad songs. Even the transition "After the Laughter" perfectly switches between the last two songs! The flow and production are amazing, so I'd have to say that this is a solid 5/5 album for me.

this album is extraordinary!
A very unique vocal sound.
Relative Ways is my favorite
Must get some of ToD's previous albums...

I could've seen them live at a festival, but didn't because I thought it was a stupid metal band, judging by their name.

this cd is perfect imo. the lyrics are the best i've ever read. period. and they actually printed them thank god. if ever i've heard something that's indie punk, this is it. tod at their absolute apex. only thing is that it's really hard to get into.

Just an FYI if you ever have a chance to see these guys live go. They still play tons of stuff from Source Tags and earlier albums. Plus they are just awesome live.

I am seriously considering the possibility that this is my favorite album ever. Might change in the far-off future, but this seems to be a good long-term answer. And it doesn't hurt that I'm learning how to play the awesome basslines to songs like "Baudelaire" and "How Near How Far" by ear. There are so many ways for me to explore this album, it's just mind-boggling.

The most overrated album I've come across in recent times.

Beautiful album. Clicked with me on the first listen, not a single weak track. "How Near How Far" and the title track are a few favorites

I fail to understand why this album is so highly regarded. The drumming is very good but almost all of these songs run together and nothing stands out in the mix. The vocals also wear thin about halfway through the album.

Worlds apart is also good. Stay away from So Divided IMO.

My favourite album of all time, without question. Worth buying for Another Morning Stoner and How Near, How Far along. Perfect alt-pop songs with emotion and texture used effectively. One thing to note is this is the last album Neil Busch writes on before his departure. Subsequent releases are written by Keely/Reece only.
