This put me in a near trance-like state. I've only listened to it once, but I like it. Very soothing. Like I should be sitting in front of a fireplace on a cold winter night drinking a cup of hot cocoa cocoa spiked with 100 proof rum, while listening to it.

I kinda like Garm's vocals more when he's going over the top, and this is only good when I'm in the right mood for it. Once a month, maybe. But that once a month, it's very, very good.

Good review, man. At first this album left me a little icy. But, as with all excellent music, this requires repeated listens. Certainly, along with Nest, one of the most unique and beatutiful discs of 2007.

I dont really like any of Ulver's non metal albums, but there's something about the amazing atmosphere on this album that makes me love it. It has the atmosphere of Black Metal, but it isnt Black Metal its Dark Ambient. I think everyone should get this.
