Yeh, I just came back to re-read what you said and realised that I'd just been emphasising the wrong words in my head - funny how that happens.
Anyway, that's what I thought when you first asked the question. The place I got it from is literally my lifeline at the moment (since I've lost about 5 blogs in the last 2 weeks to mediafire banning ip's), so I hope you don't mind if I keep it fairly close to my chest for the time being.
I always thought sputnik staff wouldn't have too much of a problem grabbing promos with it being a pretty frequented place and so on.

I would love to know what journalist/music reviewer leaked it (if it was one of that crowd) because obtaining the album from the label was such a hassle because of fears of such a thing happening

I don't want a link, it was me simply wondering to myself (out loud) what journalist or studio assistant leaked it, given all the measures that were put in place to prevent it from happening (its ironic, get it?). It was a rhetorical question.
