Very good review, owned mine, but the thing that bugs me here is how it's any different if Flawed reviews this 1 day after the release, and I do it on the day of release? What's the big difference?
PR vs Journalism. You basically sold the album based on your first impression whereas Flawed took an extra day to absorb it

yeah, but he's going to do another when the retail comes out is he not?

Nice review, honestly it's the only one I'd trust since everyone else submitted stuff right away and I know that an album should be given more time to sink in. I downloaded this album yesterday, don't really know what to expect, I didn't like HTTT besides a few songs.

I plan on paraphrasing this one and working in the second disc as well, yeah. I don't quite know how it's going to work yet, I need to preorder the discbox anyway.

Listening to it 4 times in a row still makes it a first impression in my eyes. Plus I think that's a pretty bad way to judge albums.

I guarantee you I will get more views on IGN than I do here...the millions of really lousy reviews that y'all let anyone write really drag the reputation down. You should have to write 5+ reviews and have them looked over before you can post them here.

But then you never would have gotten your big break!!!

My big break?
#1: Then I've been given 2 breaks (I'm a Contributing Review)
#2: IGN considered publishing my Miser-Colors review as their own with expressed written permission.
#3: I had two weird ass review sites I've never heard of approach me that I turned down as well. Maybe it was a joke, but hey...

Tribe just stfu. Your review sucked, this one didnt. He took more time but it's still too soon. Etc. Go to IGN and stop bothering us.
|
| |
It must suck to be a mod on this site...cleaning up every thread ilu and me post in must really suck.
|
| |
The whole IGN thing only gets started when people bring it up. I never mention it until people bring it up.
|
| |
"This site ****ing sucks...maybe I should have taken IGN up on their deal, my review would be allowed on Wikipedia."
That's you mentioning it out of nowhere.

Not gonna lie, this is alot better than I thought it was gonna be. It`s probably inbetween Amnesiac and HttT for me.

I would like to say that this album has no cover art yet. Radiohead announced that somewhere...Stanley Dunwood is supposedly fixing it up as we speak and it'll be done soon. (Hehehe, how vague)
Anyway, my favorite track is Videotape then All I Need. They just appeal to me. Nice review. I have a feeling these reviews and ratings will change though when it comes out physically.

I really really like the pseudo hip-hop drums in "All I Need", and I can't really complain about anything in the album. It's exactly what I wasn't expecting, which in a way was exactly what I was expecting.
But yeah, you guys should just calm down. Besides, if Med57 ever reviews this you're not gonna stand a chance anyway.

Everything after All I Need drops the ball on this album, except for Videotape.

just like this band has with their past 2 albums, your review puts me to sleep...not because i thought it was boring but because radiohead has become such a bland band to even talk about...i never thought i would say that
maybe this album just needs another listen.
