Khanate was an incredible band. Maybe you have had to see them live to get it. The drumming wasn't random and they were totally synced with each other. The self titled was a great album, but I though this one was even better.

don't get all the 1/5's

sure, it's annoying and at times makes me want to slit my throat, but some of the stuff here is quite decent.

I don't know about this album, but Khanate's debut is sick and deranged in a good way.

Surprised at all the early comments bashing this stuff. This is pretty fucking awesome to me.

Why is this review here? It's more of a condemnation of doom metal than an actual review. Dumb.

Lol, this review. I prefer the vocals on S/T but the music on this is terrifyingly compelling

The debut seems to get the most praised from my experience

Lame review

edit :
"Which brings me to my point in this review. The point being, why? This is music that is incredibly depressing and claustrophobic. From the opening of commuted to the ending of the CD over an hour later, this does nothing but depress you."

Actually this is a good review, as misunderstood as the record it claims to know about.

hmmm I feel that this is not even a review, you waste time on pre-amble espousing your personal feelings for, well, this type of music - but you didn't describe the music in any depth or attempt to objectively justify your score :P
