after trying this like a few different times it finally clicked.

it's way too bloated which is why its hard to get into...which is shame cause this really could have been 4.5ish

Agree completely. So well-produced yet not overproduced; there are so many layers to it that it takes a while to filter in.

While I do love this album, and disagree STRONGLY on everything the reviewer thinks of this, I
do have to admit, the review was well written. You elaborated on your points in great detail and
explained thoroughly why you felt this band was meh. However, I don't quite understand all the
"generic" talk. I can't even fathom how any other band sounds like this. Vheissu by Thrice does sound
maybe a little similar to this, but the keys, lyrics, and vocal style Treos incorporates into Mi Fa Mi
sounds quite different from Thrice.

Edited: Yeah, I edited this comment and rephrased + spell checked a couple of things.

it does initially come of generic, but thats because the number of genres they melt in this is so flawless and incredible that it takes a while to sink in.

I love the breakout out part at the 4:20 mark on the salesman, so much win

Goosebumps. Lovin Stay Small cause I have a three year old daughter and it really hits close. Really this whole album I can relate to.

Hey boy.. You best looook out. Pay mind to those greeeeeeeedy people cliiiimbers.

They'll clutch and they'll claw, their way to the top.

Your legs are just ladders to them.

And your heads just another step man.

On you like a rash.
