Anyone listen to Naglfar? I think they are Dissection reincarnated

I can't think of any band who played Melodic Black Metal before Dissection. Remember, Dissection formed in 1989, so I'd say they invented this sound.This Message Edited On 09.29.07

Im despise most black metal but these guys did something for me when I first heard this, just blew me away. You should give this a chance as songs like Night's Blood, Retribution and Dead Angels Lie are just plain sick.

there's no ambience, (apart from epic doom, which i'm very bored of) they dont compare to bands like Enslaved or Burzum, and the list goes on

Emperor, Burzum, and Enslaved were going for a completely different sound though, so you really can't compare Dissection to bands who play a different style of Black Metal.
