Apocolyptic: I dunno, it was a weird show. They didn't really look like they wanted to be there for half of it, and the crowd were similarly lacking in encouragement.

It wasn't bad as such, I mean it was tight (except a couple mishaps) but the sound was a bit overwhelming at times, and really, it totally lacked atmosphere for what is considered one of the most atmospheric records ever. just, underwhelming.

This said. 'Washer' was probably one of the greatest performances I've ever witnessed. but this was the only truly great moment of the whole show and it sloped afterwards.

i agree with dried muffin remnants about people not picking up on the subtle beauty right away. but once you do its great.

I bought the vinyl of this the other day so I don't know any of the individual songs cause it's not that kind of album but really is a cool record. I like how on the back they are asking for applicants for a female singer to join the band lol.

Listened to this more today because Neoteric told me to, and it started growing on me. I'll see where this ends up.This Message Edited On 03.24.08

For dinner... and Good Morning, Captain are so brilliant together. I think this will remain at a 4.

ya the ambience of the album is really terrific, this is the type of stuff that really appeals to me. Don Amon, Washer and Good Morning Captain are godly songs, the other three are great as well. This could possibly work its way up to a 5.

Good Morning Captain is one of the most brilliant odyssey of a song ever. I had a fucking experience with that song last night. This is so close to a 5, I just dunno if the rest are worthy.

I heard the lead singer actually got physically sick while singing "I Miss You" in Good Morning Captain. He's pretty into it I guess.
