Sun Of Nothing is where it's at, album-wise IMO. The first time I heard the chorus I was blown away. That's when the scope of this record kinda hit me, hehe.

Sun of Nothing and Ants of the Sky are freaking brilliant, but I'm surprised there hasn't been as much praise for Prequel to the Sequel. It's got a real cool Dream Theater vibe, and the guest vocals raise the hairs on my arms. It's probably my second favorite track on the album.

Except that this is better than anything Dream Theater could ever even think about doing.

the banjo in Ants of the Sky is a cool novelty for like 5 seconds, but then it's just ughhhh

Believe it or not, the guest vocals in "Prequel" are from none other than that dude from Fear Before The March Of Flames. FACT!

This is a nice album, its not a "masterpiece" or something, and the review was nice but fan-boyish. A good album. This Message Edited On 09.16.07

Dream Theatre

Boo. Hiss.

This album's so overrated and it's not even out yet.

the Dream Theater influence came from the fact that Mike Portnoy (DT's drummer) called BTBAM while they were 2 songs into writing this record, and he told them that they (DT) were fans of BTBAM and were excited to hear their new CD.
and yes, Adam from FBTMOF is the guest vocalist on "Prequel". Tuesday needs to hurry up and get here so i can own this beast.

It was better the first few times I listened to it. The interpretations were pretty damn boring.

After listening to all of BTBAM's albums for the past 2+ months, I have concluded that this is, in fact, their best.
