Hey great review, I had same thoughts on the album and saw these guys a couple of weeks ago. They are a great band live. Not sure why song names matter, TDWP has great lyrics and all the songs are christian based. It never ends.

Someone the album not having any point...well it does. Prolly should of put this in the review, but the album refers to exodus in the bible. In exodus there are 10 plagues that affect the world. And even though the song titles don't show it...i beleive each song in some way shows symbols of the plagues...which i think is a great idea for an album. They dont take the song titles seriously because they think too many people care like all these kids crying about it...they basically did it to piss you off...thats what i hope at least lol.

I found this album very good, it seems they got better at song writing from their last release. The album is about Exodus in the bible, basically the story of the Passover. Very creative, even though im not in anyway christian I thought this was enjoyable.

I think Chrisian bands need to stop being so overtly Christian it gets annoying in about one second. Also songs that simply take a bible story and put it into context are not original.

well its not about the story, from what I hear its like they put it in modern day context, like the plaugues and stuff. Yes, the lyrics aren't the best, but usually when I know a band is either Extremely Christain, or Devil Worshiping, I really just block out the lyrics anyways.

True but when bands don't put enough effort into lyrics it's just one more thing that keeps the album from being amazing. Not that I think this is amazing at all but just in general.

The lyrics are by no means amazing, but they are above mediocre...considering the lyrics arent the common 15 year old girl love tragedy, but actually have a decent message behind it. And who cares if they have christian lyrics...they aren't trying to shove it in your face...they just write about what they believe and feel...like every other band known to man.

As long as they're not one of those Christian bands that throw Bibles to the crowd at concerts, they're not being too radical for me.

I haven't actually read the lyrics so I don't know how much they do or don't shove their religious beliefs in your face. However after Becoming The Archetype's The Physics of Fire I'm a bit annoyed with overt christianity in lyrics. I like Becoming's music but the lyrics often got me beyond pissed.
-Nothing against Christians it's not like I'm anti-chirstian or anything but Becoming took an almost extremist stance to their beliefs. This Message Edited On 08.20.07

Demon Hunter's lyrics are probably the best when it comes to Christianity.

So what about all those metal bands who throw satanism out at everyone? Is that not radical?
It's just music; get over it.
