Read some reviews of SCIENCE or Fungus Amongus, listen to a bit more of SCIENCE, specifically A Certain Shade of Green, New Skin, etc.

tbh i enjoyed "Fungus Amongus" more than this, i'm not too sure why. I feel that they really fucked up "You Will be a Hot Dancer" on this one, it wa sooo much better on FA. However, The version of "Take Me to YOur LEader" is a little better on this than FA imo, and the version of "Hilikus" may be too, even though it didn't seem quite as funky. And "Azwethinkweiz" is just amazing, i love tat song so fucking much, "Version" is good too, but "Axwethinkseiz" is one of Incubus' best tracks of all time.

problably because it sounds more organic on FA.

I know everything. SCIENCE is funk metal. I don't have this, but if shaft sounds like stellar, they must have seriously reworked it. If Trouble In 421 were on here I would have purchased it by now.

I personally would classify them as an alternative rock band to be QUITE honest.
