A great way to start off their career. Bleed the Freak is definatly the best song on the album.

My favorite AIC album. I can listen to every single song on here except for, wait never mind. I really can listen to every song on here. And that's saying something.

One of my personal favourate AiC albums. I got "Dirt" before this and liked it, but it was this that converted me to a full on fan. I think i prefer "Jar of Flies" in retrospect, but this takes some beating.
I guess it is their most metal album, but i wouldnt go as far as actualy calling it metal.

First 2 songs are classic,
"Sea of sorrow", "Bleed the freak" and "Love, hate, love" are also great.
The rest sounds too much the same to remain interesting.
As a consequence this is their least impressive CD, still an excellent debut-cd, and the first grunge-cd ever to to attrack some mainstream-media attention !

A pretty good album, but certainly not their best.

I'd say the first six are excellent. It Ain't Like That is a concert staple. The rest may not be as focused as the earlier half of the album, but it all shows the potential surrounding the band at the time. This was a pretty important record for the Seattle Scene in 1990.
