Just came in the mail today. This album has alot more twiddly-diddly and alot less thud-thud than Demigod did, not that either is bad, just a general observation...

Solid album. My favorites are Prometherion, Arcana Hereticae, Libertheme and Christgrinding Avenue. I don't know if I like it more than Demigod or ZKC yet, it'll be a few more listens before I decide.

It can just from the non-layering of vocals. That was really hard to listen to.

The Apostasy is an excellent record. Nergal left Demigod's layered vocals but his voice remains extremely violent and Inferno's performance here is once again unbelievable. My favourite tracks are Slaying The Prophets Ov Isa, At The Left Hand Ov God, Be Without Fear, Arcana Hereticae and specially the "Slayer oriented" Libertheme.
Behemoth is probably the most consistent extreme metal band around.
