I really liked this album. I think it deserves a litle more credit than it gets

It does. So many people think its not any better than their previous efforts, but Yellowcard is a solid band and they have grown a lot since OA. And this definately shows in PW. L&S was kind of different, but PW is a grown-up, matured OA. So underrated.

"Haha, what a bad band" - And you're basing this on one review? Or just the fact that you're not a very good listener or rater of music. Yellowcard isn't my all time favorite band, but this record might just be my all time favorite album. The band has skill, dedication, and plenty of good ideas that translate to quality music and lyrics in their music. If you don't like them, fine. But you have to admit that they are without a doubt the best of their genre.

I've never been brave enough to try anything beyond Ocean Avenue. I loved that album, but if they're still singing about relationships and breaking up, there's no way I want to hear it.

Lyric wise this is a more noticable mature version of the relationship line than Ocean Avenue, Lights and Sounds goes more socio-political but still has the relationship line.

Agreed. Also, 'The Takedown' is an immense pop punk song. Fast and catchy with above average musicianship inside its genre. _b

I thought Lights And sounds was a much more mature effort and felt very consistent so give it a spin. This album was awesome at the time, but I feel it was a step down from the great sound they achieved with L&S.

This is my favorite Yellowcard record. From a nostalgical summer standpoint.

agreed. I'm surprised by people saying they still only sing about relationships and breakups, almost none of the songs on here are on those subjects.
