yeah, i thought this was going to be something different. but its everything ive already heard before. they have some ok songs but the vocals are horrible. sorry enc, you hyped this a little too much. clean singing was ok, but sounds the same like every other metalcore band

Not to nitpick the author of this thread, but I'm from NC as well and what are you talking about "all you'll find is Post-Hardcore/Screamo and Indie rock"? North Carolina's scene is almost DOMINATED by Metalcore bands nowadays, it'd be almost relieving to see some more bands who weren't just metalcore.

On another note, I do quite love Knives for their energetic live show and all of the guys in the band are really nice dudes. I need to hear this whole CD soon as I've heard good things from friends. Despite the fact that they aren't much more than generic metalcore, I find them much more talented and interesting to listen to than most of the acts around here.

I know. I'm making fun of your because you're just whoring a really bad local band. Think of all the poor kids who go to either site and don't realize you're a scrub and waste more and/or time getting this album.

Wow..sounds like complete ass.

A good live show will not save them from their horribly generic music.

p.s. What the fuck is up with the vocals? Sounds like the singer is choking on a dick.

oh and Death Metal Vocals are soo much more better, it matter of opinion on vocals. Some people like some vocals, some like others, its not horrable, your just not used to it. These guys are good, nothing super unquie about them, but its a good record.

This band is better than most of my state's bullshit scene, but they're still nothing special.

Yeah he's a total scene fag. BTBAM is just about all you need from the NC metal scene. Daylight Dies too, I guess.

Basically every band in the NC metal-hard-death-gay-core scene plays the exact same breakdown and loves to use completely random and retarded movie samples in their songs. It's just awful.

I saw these guys in Kentucky a couple weeks ago. They were very solid live. Cool dudes as well.
