I like this album. Reminds me of MArvin the Martian for some reason...

I happened to like this album though the concept is somewhat laughable.

Music buisiness is now being too serious. Devin show the world that music has no boundaries and that anybody is free to write the weirdest thing they want.

Um, I hope this is a joke. Educate yourself. There is music that has a sense of humor and a tongue-in-cheek attitude that isn't some dunderheaded excuse for humor. It's actually clever and has a little taste.

And, Devin has not showed the world any such thing. Lol. I mean, his music is pretty basic and normal in the grand scheme of things.

My dad got this and played it over the weekend. I think its pretty good, though some songs drag on, and some other things make it a low rating, but I like it none the less.

The song Hyperdrive could easily be part of another record. That song, I like. The rest, I can understand the low rating. Good review.

I personally love this album. I cant say it's as good as Synchestra, but hey, very few albums are.

Synchestra was worked on for at least a couple years, with a long list of contributing musicians. Ziltoid was a 4 month project with only 1 man doing everything on it. Logically, Synchestra is the better of the 2 just because of that.

Planet Smasher is awesome. Love that song.

I find it somewhat humorous that this album received every kind of rating except "average".

"all you can do is hide your head in embarrassment and cringe at the silence after the punchline'

I think all you do is cringe at the sight of creativity

Oh a dude with the name "HevyDevy" blindly finds every Townsend release brilliant. Whoa! WHOA!
Mentioning how he came up with this concept at 8 years old just proves Kage's point. It's totally juvenile.

Oh really? Every release? That's funny because I only have 3 of his cd's.
