I've heard Reprisal [Malis Avibus] and Homage [Magni Nominis Umbra] and I'll definetely have to track down a copy of this album. I love Homage!

I managed to download a few songs, and this band is definately worth checking out.

I got:

Y Draig Goch
Woe to the Defeated
To Kingdom Come
Pallida Mors

Pallida Mors is the only one off of Domus Mundi, but all the tracks are awesome.

I've heard To Kingdom Come (only one I've heard from the second album), and it's great.

This is my favorite album of all time, hands down. From start to finish I was enraptured with what bordered on a spiritual experience so incredibly rare to an agnostic skeptic such as myself. In regards to the samples, lots of them are straight out of movies. The Scottish/Irish sample is right out of Braveheart, one sample is out of Legend (laughable early Tom Cruise work), and the Maori chant is a haka taken from Once Were Warriors (or possibly Whale Rider, but I think the former is probably the case).

The fact that I consider this album superior to all else is even more poignant perhaps as I have a strong dislike for the strong, grating vocals that persist throughout the album. I've yet to find anything remotely similar to Domus, and due to the less impressive following works which take less risks and have less breadth, I doubt I ever will.
