This is seriously the most boring album I've ever laid ears upon. It was a chore to listen to this.

I enjoy Manson's music somewhat , but he hasent made a good album since "HolyWood" and after some hype I heard about this album I was expecting alot more. That "Holes in Happiness" is the best song and I wanted more industrail!

Holy Wood is hard to beat as far as Manson goes. :/

Holy Wood is terrible, too. Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals were his heights.

His best album after Hollywood.

I'm an industrial wanker, but I did not like his industrial stuff. Holy Wood was average, Antichrist Superstar was not good, and Mechanical Animals was listenable. That's my opinion. I really, really enjoyed this album though.

I thought it would go over better.

I've never liked Manson, but this album is not as boring as the others

The industrial influence on the last album was obviously to do with Tim Skold (think KMFDM), you can hardly say Trent Reznor was defining this sound. It's been ten years since he's produced a Manson record.

In an attempt to create that "serious" record it's all built on the old post-grunge template that was getting old in '94.

Ummm... no. Eat Me, Drink Me sounds too clear to be grunge. It's more like classic goth rock than anything else. The bass does sound a bit industrial tho. Sometimes...This Message Edited On 07.29.08
