I've written reviews in the past, I just never had a good place to put them since I didn't know about Sputnikmusic.

Coming from a Tool fanboy myself, this does sound a bit fanboyish.

I don't know if I should write a review for this album considering there's so many of them already.

If it's really important for you to do so, then go for it, but otherwise, don't.

that's cool that you got something more out of the album on second listen. i did too. i still think this is a pretty weak album by tool standards, but 10,000 days still owns. those who say tool's overated just want something to complain about on this site. (cuz they're not.)

I wish that no one would ever review this again.

And 123 on everyone else's opinions on the "toolgasm" idiocy.

Average album at best, only several good songs. At times, Tool tries to be way to progressive for their own good, and it shows when each song drags on to no end. Writing long songs is fine, as long as you keep them from being tedious, which Tool did not do with this release.

You should of dropped the Toolgasm thing, it made me groan (though i have to admit i did giggle).

Besides that the review was very well written, nicely informative. This is the only Tool album i haven't listened to yet, this makes me want to go listen to it so that must account for something!

Kind of a 'Tool can do no wrong' approach. I like how nothing was said about the fact that the second half of the album basically blows, except I suppose Right in Two.

Honestly, this album was horribly subpar by Tool standards.

Isn't a fact, just your opinion.

This is easily the second best Tool album, after masterpiece Lateralus. I'm surprised at some lukewarm

reviews and opinions here. About half the songs in this album are brilliant, if rather simple, prog

rock/metal. And the other half is excellent.

I'd actually say Tool are underrated, not overrated. Each to their own, though.

Well, Dream Theater were realeasing great albums in the 90s, but they're getting redundant with so

many lackluster, repetitive albums. Tool are definitely a more important band today, imo. I prefer

quality to quantity.
