Osbourne's crew makes its way through seven generic, mid-paced, sludgy songs, two slower ballads, and one which somewhat combines the elements of both.

sounds like classic Sabbath to me.:p

i don't think this album is as bad as most seem to make it out to be. if you never liked oz you won't like this, most likely. but to my ears for the rest of us its same as it ever was and better then he has been in the last decade or more. This Message Edited On 05.23.07

Nice review. It was obvious this album was going to suck. Ozzy can barely even sing anymore

Everyone knows that Ozzy was only good back in the early Black Sabbath days and maybe one or two solo projects.

NEVER put down Ozzy's solo career with Randy Rhoads. Ever. That man is a god.

I was thinking about buying this so I can go see Behemoth. Maybe not.

Rhodes was an overrated wanker

Randy Rhoads was one of the only guitarists that could shred and wank incredibly but valued quality more than speed. His solos are epic. And not to mention, he was quite an incredible classical guitarist as well.
and meowmeow, just go to ozzfest.com and get tix there if you wanna see your lovely behemoth.

Randy Rhoads was certainly less sloppy than Zakk. Wylde is a freakin boring guitarist. The first 4 BS albums were the only thing Ozzy-related I dig, really.

Good review. I never had plans for getting this, and I don't think that will be changing.

I love Ozzy but i can't say this is that good. I am kinda angry about Zakks playing. I heard that he had said that he didn't need no "Bob rock" to tell him how to play good music but to me he does.

Zakk Wylde has no skill on the guitar. Seriously!

Tony Iommi beats both of them though.

You must be kidding me. Tony is pretty good, but not half as good as Randy. If you heard "Tribute" you'd understand why.

The kid above me, "South_of_heaven" is a great example of why most people think metalheads are mindless, moronic, idiots. OMG, SlaY3R RawK 0NNN! OzZy PwNZZ! Dude, reevlauate your musica tastes, and perhaps even your life. That song was horrible (I almost slapped my guitarist for loving it), and I would have to have a gun in my face to spend money on this waste of a compact disc.
