She seems to do well with these soft verse-then-loud chorus power ballads such as the impressive October. Arrangement & production on that track was strong as well.
Damn, never listened to this, are her solo albums any good? From the review I get she developed the sound in Wake Up and Smell the Coffee which sounds good to me...
