Yeah, seriously. I used to watch Rage or Video Hits or whatever, and when I was really young I listened to boybands, but it was only on hearing Bad Day and it's videoclip that I really took an interest in music.

*shrug* I guess I was. I didn't grow up in a musical family or anything, and I was never influenced by what my friends liked. Which is probably why my taste is so bizarre and makes no sense.

well it wasn't until I heard American Idiot that I realised and album could be more than just a few good songs and actually tell a story and take the listener on a journey. It was also the album that made me pick up a guitar and open the gates to other types of music.
