It's a repetitive, sleazy mass of hauntingly disgusting sounds. Alan Vega's breathy vocals might make you feel like you're being spit on by a muscular drag queen as he runs the dull end of a knife through your neck. The keyboard rhythms of Martin Rev might make you feel like you're in a dream. Not a nightmare, just a dream. A dream where you are doing what you'd likely be doing if you were awake, only here, it's just a little bit different. Nothing's real and you can feel it. You can't see what's creating these illusions, but your instinct tells you something is wrong. Combine these two and you have this album. It's other worldly. No, it's other dimensional-ly.

This is a sure classic. This is the real shit, music experimenting and exploring itself.
And Ghost Rider ... How electrifying, mesmerizing ....

A great album that I like a lot. I wonder if any of the members supported suicide?

Frankie Teardrop kind of ruins the flow for me, since it's really something I think most people are only going to listen to once x).

Frankie Teardrop? I've never heard a song like that in my entire life. It's pretty disturbing.
