I heard that there are times on here where Hellhammer's double bass is just too fast for words. Fact or fiction?

Fact, Hellhammer could be in a brutal death metal band. He's as fast as George Kollias. The mighty Nile Drummer. This Message Edited On 05.02.07

Listen to The Chosen Legacy. he reached about 260 bpm which means 17 bass drum strokes per second.

Dear God...my bro has this album, but I haven't listened to it entirely. Now I will.

He's really fast on this album but that only contributes to it being his worst performance because it's all he is.

I heard Hellhammer has a drum solo on this tour that is going on right now. Can't wait to see it tomorrow.

Yeah, i could be going to the show tonight in chicago, but instead i'm going to the show in Wisconsin tomorrow. It's weird seeing a tour like this because unearth would normally never tour with a band such as Dimmu Borgir.

I'Ve seen them a weak ago. It was insane. Dimmu Borgir sound was a bit too loud. The instrument were inaudible at times. Kataklysm was the highlight of the show. They are a local act for me so they gave their 110%.

Sorry For the double post. I've forgot to talk about the Hellhammer solo. It was a bit dissapointing. Way too short! almost 45 seconds. I was hoping for 3 or 4 minutes.

Katakylsm? Wow, thats a shock. I've heard Unearth shows are pretty insane. Dimmu look pretty dope live too.

I got this album out of curiosity after seeing Dimmu Borgir headline day one of the new england metal and hardcore fest. As a fan of their older material ( Particularly Stormblast through Eternal Darkthrone Triumphant) I was curious about the direction of this cd.

I wanted to write and say that anyone who has not liked their most recent two or three albums will not enjoy this disc. It is slightly better than death cult Armageddon which is nearly unlistenable for me.

Dimmu's sound is WAY too artificial nowdays. They used to meld organics and fury in a very potent way..Now they just lack anything truly redeeming

Ye i changed it now... It's a good sound but sometimes the atmosphere can go over the top a little. This Message Edited On 05.05.07
