As I said, this is their best album, in my opinion, since Achtung Baby, meaning that it is better than All That You Can't Leave Behind. Although it has the same sort of sound as that, it's more consistent and has less filler, I think,
The mainriff in Vertigo sounds an awful lot like a riff from the Offspring.
You mean it's pretty much exactly the same as the chorus riff of Get Free by The Vines?

And they ripped off Eskimo Joe, even though they probably don't know it.

Rock that's very big and melodramatic and written by hugely big band like U2. Basically, music that sounds good when played in huge venues.

Maybe they ripped off two bands.

that's probably the lamest 'rip-off' accusation i've ever heard.

Album Rating: 4.0

Love the songs, allthough I like ''The City Of BLinding Lights'', ''MIracle Drug'' and the best of all ''All Because Of You.'' the most

This album has barely even been out for a week, and it is already severely overrated.

A definite 2.5/5. It's an extremely mediocre album from U2 and doesn't build off of ATYCLB, which was actually a decent record. They're regressing again, and I dislike it.

I bought ATYCLB and pretty much regret it. I like most of their new stuff, I think I'm going to stick to The Joshua Tree.

ATYCLB was not a fantastic record, but it was pretty good. It doesn't beat Joshua Tree or War, but it was good. This one is not.
