"the video u saw was for "You Wouldn't Know," its terrible

and by the way, nattie light may be terrible, but on this side of the Mexican border, its the cheapest beer around. and when ur in college, you buy nattie and ramen while hoping to god going to the gym keeps u healthy"

Renegade i have to agree with you, sometimes you just wanna get drunk. And when your on a low college budget like i am, that's all i can afford. I mean a 30 pack for $15 i don't think you can find cheaper beer. Although it's pretty terrible, terrible beer.

And i completely agree with you on this album, i was suprised you gave it a two. That is giving it alot more than it deserves.

This is probably one of the worst metal albums i've heard. Were a band was actually trying to be serious about their music.

honestly i debated going lower... but i'm giving it the opportunity to grow on me, because alot of albums need that.

but i don't see it happening, i might drop it to a 1.5

terrible terrible beer by taste, but by price, pretty damn good beer

I've heard like...three or four songs from this album and I'm not even going to bother with the rest. I agree with your review. I mean, I'm not even one of those people who bashes Mudvayne or Pantera (I actually like those bands) but this collaboration is just terrible generic metal. Not to mention Chad's voice sounds pretty bad here.

And what's with the stupid redneck gimmick?

i decided to drop the score, this album just makes me so upset, whatta letdown. i even called best buy and told em the honest truth, "sir i purchased a CD yesterday and to put it bluntly, its god awful, can i exchange it for something else please?"

i was denied sadly... sigh, i shoulda picked up wisconsin deathtrip

I heard the two songs on their myspace a while back, and was not pleased in the least bit. A foot away from this album is like a bit closer to heaven. (digging that particular cob song right now lol).

I think people had higher expectations for this band because Vinie Paul is in it. Personally I thought it was gunna be really tight almost like another Pantera or Damageplan even. But its just basically another Mudvayne for me. Im sure there is some cool songs and what not, but whatever. Nothing that hasnt already been done before. This Message Edited On 04.12.07

[quote=review]So... is this album worth your hard-earned cash even when you're a big fan of Pantera and/or Mudvayne?

I am in Australia so I don't know what Nattie Light is, but I assume it is a light beer as I sip my Beam... HAHA suckers.
To renegadestrings, yes you shoulda got WDT, get it next, now.
I was interested in this project until I heard their name, and I thought what everyone else did... HELLNO! Read an interview from Chad about how they wanted to write some relaxed, less intense music compared to Mudvayne... strike 3 after painting their faces and recording The End of All Things To Come *flame suit on*

American beer sucks, Pantera are all the redneck metal I need. I shall join the chorus of voices already stating that this band has one of the most retarded names in history - you might as well call your band The Braindead Hick Supergroup. This Message Edited On 04.13.07

It's rather sad, really. It actually cost someone fifteen hard-earned dollars to reach the conclusion that a Mudvayne/Pantera hybrid will yield nothing good. This Message Edited On 04.13.07

I like Chad Grey and Mudvayne a whole lot, saw them live last year and they were incredible, and Vinnie Paul's a good drummer. I heard the song HellYeah first, and though that it was pretty good. Too bad the rest of this sucks.

What's even worse is that it's delaying the new Mudvayne album/tour. I want to see them over the summer, not HellYeah on the terrible Family Values Tour.
