Well, If is a better song than you say. And this is one of the first albums I heard of PF.

Gilmour said that this album was "shit" but I think it's pretty good. Summer '68 is amazing, and I really like If and Fat Old Sun too. The title track is good, but it's not in the same class as Echoes or other Floyd epics. I don't really get Alan's Psychadelic Breakfast.

In the 80's, Waters said that if somebody gave him a thousand pounds (you know, the British money) and told him to go play Atom Hear Mother on stage he would tell them that they must be out of their ****ing minds.

This album is really growing on me lately. I consider it much more than mediocre. "Atom Heart Mother" and "If" are breathtaking songs, and "Alan's Psycedelic Breakfast" is just plain fun. This Message Edited On 09.19.06

Get the pipe cleaners, boys, we're stuffing Atom Heart Mother down the Pink Floyd cannon, gonna make a wreck of Close to the Edge, watch Selling England by the Pound tremble in fear.
