Yeah, they're not stereotypical tech death. They're better than most tech bands.

Well for starters, on this album (aside from Dead and Grotesque) all of the songs are modeled like classical compositions. I don't know of many other Technical Death metal bands who do that and I'd like to think I've listened to the greater lot of them. Hell the album is barely death metal if you ask me.

Edit: Also, I'd love to know which albums sound exactly like this (as you allude), for out of all the death metal I've listened to I haven't heard anything that comes close. This Message Edited On 04.08.09

Fucking hilarious. I seriously cannot hear an ounce of originality on this album at all, AT ALL.

Pretty much anything that comes out of Willowtip Records. To deny that would be of the utmost failure.

It does for me too. Which is especially amazing considering I've listened to it more than 115 times fully.

I have to be honest. I deleted this album right after that I reviewed it and I have never bothered to listen to it ever since. But I actually bought this a couple of days ago and it sounds like Gorod's Leading Vision! I remembered this as a brutal and extremely repetitive brutal death album, not as a uber-technical album. I'm seriously confused now :S
