I hated this album, but I've just discovered I love stuff like Enthrone Darkness Triumphant (haven't heard PEM) and Stormblast isn't bad either. I was going to review this album and EDT, the two Dimmu albums I have.

One reason I had my name changed is because there were 2 or 3 other Fast Fingers on MX (I was the first though and the others had ugly names like fastfingers or Fastfingers or fastfingers182)

I would imagine that I could get this band to grow on me if I just listened to them a lot more but I'm no masochist so I won't put myself through that.
I'm all for giving an album a chance to impress me but I just havn't found any time or tolerance for this band. They're hilariously geeky which wouldn't be so bad if they didn't try so hard to look serious about their gimmick.
Add to that music that makes me sleepy and bored and you've got a recipe for complete garbage. At least in my, admittedly random and at times stupid, opinion.

dimmu are good, but compared to devils path EP n godless savage garden this albums pretty average, Progenies is slightly overrated - although its the constipation song *check out the lyrics* - overrated, this albums purdy boring, standout track is unorthodox manifesto, the guitarworks good =D

This is my second fav of Dimmu Borgir's. They are one of my fav bands. I got all their cds. Starting with For All Tid to this. Enthrone Darkness Thriumphant is excellent. So is PEM. PEM is their heavist album. This has a little of everything but is much more modern than their old stuff.
If your not sure, download a few songs before ya buy.

I think I'm the only one alive who doesn't like For All Tid. I've heard most of DB's albums, and I think the only ones worth the time are Stormblast and Enthrone Darkness Triumphant (an AMAZING album).
