That's probably the same reason that I like it the least. I still like it, but it's not the same Bodom.

This CD has some great Bodom tracks on - the first three and Trashed, Lost & Strungout own - everything.

I re-listened to all of CoB's albums last night.

After that, I liked HCDR a little less (used to consider it my favorite) and realized how much weaker this album really is compared to their earlier works. Trashed Lost and Strungout absolutely slays, but that's really the only track that can stand up to their top older material. I would have to say that Hatebreeder and HCDR switched places, as well as this and Something Wild.

Trashed Lost and Strungout absolutely slays

I still think If You Want Peace Prepare for War is their best song.

Best on album or jsut their best?
Because no song on this can even compare to Downfall and Kissing the Shadows(tied as my faves)

Nah, Children of Bodom (The song) is their best. Hatebreeder is my second favorite, and Downfall is third. Their top 3 tracks are on Hatebreeder imo, so that may be why It's my f favorite from them now even though Black Widow and Wrath Within are two of their worst songs.

I don't think it's a lot better, but it is a little better. Roadkill Morning was awesome.

I suppose calling blooddrunk "more metal" would be appropriate.

Yeah, it reminded me of Hate Crew Deathroll. Fast, pissed, and thrashy. Keyboards were much more prominent, which was great.

The keyboards near the end of banned from heaven are so epic.

I am not sure how to back up my statement. I suppose that this album is more thrash infused and just really, really angry than Are You Dead Yet? And overall much more kickass.

Blooddrunk sounds a little better, from what I've heard.

I dunno, I thought this was thrashier than the new one. I've only listened to it once though, so maybe I missed something.
